ys10 < Ys11 Theseus & Ariadne/Labyrinth > ys12

This is a double chapbook, containing Millicore volumes 2 and 3. Theseus & Ariadne is an interpretation of one of my favourite (and in some aspects most peculiar) of the Greek myths. Labyrinth is an essay which explores the history and meaning of the labyrinth. January 1997. Available.

To the left is an example of a unicursal labyrinth (top), that is to say a maze with only one path, one solution. Below it is a multicursal labyrinth, or a maze with multiple paths and multiple solutions. The difference between the concepts of these two patterns, one with a single circuitous route to the center, the other with multiple routes and false solutions, exemplify important aspects to labyrinth lore.
